Collection Of Data
All personal data relating to a client is only obtained and stored for the purpose of providing photography services for your event.
As controller, MAC Photography does not and will never pass your personal data to any 3rd party. All data collected is relevant to the provision of the services you are enquiring about or have booked.
The MAC Photography website is hosted by Squarespace and collects a series of general data and information relating to a user. this includes IP address, browser type & version, operating system, any referring website along with the date, time and regional location. This data is needed to deliver the content of the website, optimise the website and provide anonymous statistics. This data is stored separately to any personal data collected
Retention Of Data
Personal data that is necessary to carrying out the services booked, will need to be retained until the contactual relationship has come to an end ( eg. up until the point that final images have been provided ) MAC Photography will retain contact details, however these will be deleted at any request of the individual. MAC photography would only be keeping these details for queries relating to the services provided and would not be used for any marketing purposes.
All Images will be retained indefinitely as this forms part of the contract between the client and MAC Photography. If a client wishes any images to be deleted from storage or public domain this needs to be put in writing to MAC Photography.
Storage Of Data
Any personal data collected will be stored electronically on password protected devices or software. All client images/galleries are stored on a secure password protected image hosting website and physically backed up on password protected computers or hard drives.
Use Of Data
Personal data is used solely for the purpose of providing the services set out within the clients contract. MAC Photography does not use any personal data for marketing purposes. MAC Photography reserves the right to use any images taken in promotional material such as leaflets, social media posts, blog posts, websites and directories. This is set out in the clients contract and images will only be used where a client has given consent. MAC Photography will comply with any client requests for any specific images to not be used in this manner. Requests should be put in writing to MAC Photography. MAC Photography retains the copyright to all images taken and supplied unless stated otherwise stated in the client contract.
Right Of Access
An individual has the right to request from MAC Photography, a copy of all personal data held relating to them.
Right To Deletion
An individual has the right to request that the personal data held by MAC Photography that relates to them shall be deleted. This request must be put in writing to MAC Photography. MAC photography will comply as long as the processing of this data is no longer necessary to fulfil the contract obligations or on legal grounds
